About Our Site

SafeAlternativeMedicine was formed to offer a unique reference point on alternative medicines and therapies.

Time was when alternative medicine was largely regarded as a load of hogwash, and that herbal remedies were considered nothing more than back-woods folk treatments that had little or no effect.

These days, however, many types of alternative medicine are considered to be well-established treatments, and some are even prescribed on the NHS!

With this in mind, we founded SafeAlternativeMedicine as we were concerned that there was no single UK site that gave practical and impartial advice on alternative therapies and treatments.

Our site explores everything from acupuncture to dealing with morning sickness to natural testicular cancer therapies. As well as investigating methods to treat serious conditions, we have also looked into natural ways to keep your skin looking younger and better, the Top Ten Essential Aromatherapy Oils, and the best anti-ageing nutrients.

Our authors have done extensive research to come up with a site that is both interesting and informative.

Do let us know if there is a therapy, treatment or herbal remedy that you would like investigate on the site, and we'll do our best to include it for you.

Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject.

Our features and articles are written by experts - who have experience, or a particular interest in this area.
